Wall-mounted
UVGI uses Ultraviolet (UV) energy to kill Viral, Bacterial, and Fungal organisms.
UVGI fixtures produce UV-C energy, which has shorter wavelengths than more penetrating UV-A and UV-B rays and pose less risk to human health. Upper-room UVGI refers to a disinfection zone of UV energy that is located above people in the rooms they occupy. This kills airborne pathogens in the room where they are released. Fixtures are installed to prevent direct UV exposure to people in the room.
(Extracted from the CDC website for Covid-19 prevention instructions)
Indoor air circulation / Contaminated with microorganisms / UVGI kills most of the bacteria and spores of the virus
Disinfection Application Place
Supermarket, Hospital, Business Offices
Dining Room, Public Space, Classroom
※UVGI is installed above the indoor wall or suspended from the ceiling, ≧ 2.1 meters (m) from the ground, and emits UV-C energy parallel to the level to establish an indoor Upper-room sterilization irradiation disinfection zone, which can effectively disinfection the aerosol and remove the suspended viral in the air. The UVGI can effectively block the way of Covid-19 and influenza virus infection through the air.
Ultron Violet UVGI adopts a high-throughput UV-C chip light-emitting module with high output energy and long life. Effective use can be up to three years of life.
The principle of indoor air heat rise and cool drop pass aerosols through the disinfection zone to kill the viral, bacterial, and fungal organisms. In addition, the airflow through the HVAC system, fans, and/or open windows will increase disinfection effectively.
